The Santa Paula Police Department welcomes newly hired Police Recruits Sergio Gutierrez, Donovan Varela, Sean Zosimo, and Richard Prebble. The recruits have been attending a 4 week pre-academy program to assist them in preparing for the Police Academy. The pre-academy covers physical fitness, marching and drill, report writing, ride-alongs, history on the city of Santa Paula and the Santa Paula Police Department, as well as criminal justice curriculum. Here, the recruits can be seen discussing case law with Sr. Officer Rivera.
